With registration for the upcoming National Arbiter Seminar closing soon, interested and aspiring Arbiters – or for parents and players who just wants to learn about the Laws of Chess, are requested to submit their application by CLICKING HERE.

Registration fees is RM 160 (incudes exam fees of RM 20) but special discounts are given to school teachers who are interested to learn more about Chess. Aside from the normal Over-The-Board Laws of Chess – as we begin to gradually return to normality, the Seminar will also cover Laws that governs Online Chess which will be discussed and explained in the last day of the Seminar. Although OTB chess may return soon, Online chess is expected to continue albeit not as popular as it is now.

Outline of the 3 days Seminar shall be as follows:
Day One – Introduction and Laws of Chess
Day Two – Swiss Pairing and Swiss Manager
Day Three – Online Chess and Exams

The leading Lecturer for the Online Seminar will be FA Najib Abdul Wahab who is also MCF Secretary and assisted by IA Lim Poay Sim of Penang Chess Association.

A Whatsapp group will be created for those attending the session once the registration closes.
