At the close of the registration day, a total of 202 players – 137 boys and 65 girls, have registered to participate in the Eastern Asia Youth Online Chess Championship 2021 hosted by Thailand Chess Association and endorsed by Asian Chess Federation and FIDE.

All players listed are required to check their emails later today for further instructions and to be included in the Whatsapp Group created for our Malaysian contingent. The group will be divided into three(3) main groups with separate HODs (Head of Delegation). Group 1 for players U08/U10 will be headed by Iwan Schani Ibnu – MCF Assistant Secretary, Group 2 for U12 will be led by IM Mok Tze Meng – MCF Committee, and Group 3 for U14, U16 and U18 will be headed by Nik Ahmad Farouqi Nik Abdul Aziz – MCF Head of Information.
