The Chess Federation of Sri Lanka will be organizing the Commonwealth Chess Championship 2022 to be held from 13th to 23rd November 2022 at the Citrus Hotel, Waskaduwa, Sri Lanka. The championship offers a variety of events ranging from Senior (60+) events to the usual Age Group (U20, U18, U16, U14, U12, U10, and U8 for both Boys and Girls) events including the Men and Women Open events.

Those who are interested to participate as Official players from Malaysia – where accommodation shall be provided to the selected players, are required to apply via the following Google form link (CLICK HERE) Please ensure that you have both MCF ID and FIDE ID prior to applying.

Due to the tight timeline, the application to the event needs to be completed by 25th September 2022 (Sunday) and successful applicants shall be informed of the selection before 29th September 2022. All payments for the event – for successful applicants, must be paid in full by 1st October 2022
