To date, 8 out of the 12 winners of the AGROBANK Scholastic Chess Championship 2023 that was held earlier in the year, have agreed to participate in this exciting opportunity. Unfortunately, 4 players have declined to participate due to clashing schedules as such, MCF will proceed to open the application to players who are interested to don the national colors. MCF is also inviting other players who are interested to participate in this ASIAN scholastic level event as additional players.

As per many other events of this nature, the organizer will only offer free accommodation for the official players whereas additional players will need to bear their own hotel arrangements. For flights, all players will have to make their own flight arrangements and cost in order to participate in the event.

The 4 officials slots that are still open are for Girls U9, Girls U11, Girls U13 and Girls U17. Additional slots are open for everyone as there are no limitations to the number players who can participate.

Interested players are requested to register their interest by CLICKING HERE. Take note that there is a fee of RM20 for each application submitted.

Closing date to apply will be 10th June 2023 (at noon) and players will be informed if they are successful for the slot by 11th June 2023. All payments to be completed to MCF before midnight on 11th June 2023.
