Registration is OPEN!

The Malaysian Chess Federation is happy to announce that it has opened the registration link for the upcoming AGROBANK NATIONAL SCHOLASTIC CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 (for Under 7, Under 9, Under 11, Under 13, Under 15, and Under 17) scheduled from 27th to 29th January 2023.

This will be the kickoff event for the year 2023 with many more activities being planned by MCF in view that it will be the first full year with MCO lifted. With many World and Asian Level events filling up the second half of 2022 as organizers/FIDE scrambled to meet the year-end timeline, events for 2023 should be spaced out more evenly throughout the calendar year.

For the AGROBANK NATIONAL SCHOLASTIC CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2023, the closing date is set for 15th January 2023 and total entries are limited to 500 players – pending space availability. Entries received after the closing date/maximum players will only be accepted at the discretion of the organizer and will include an RM50 penalty.
