Kaluthara – Sri Lanka from 25th August to 3rd September 2022. The event is organized by The Chess Federation of Sri Lanka under the auspices of the Asian Chess Federation (ACF) and the International Chess Federation (FIDE).

Another Junior event is open for interested Malaysian youngsters to participate, this time, it’s the Asian level event for scholastic (odd age groups) which is going to be held in Kaluthara, Sri Lanka from 25th August to 3rd September 2022.

The event also offers direct titles for FM/WFM for the eventual winners and CM/WCM for 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Although the organizer only allows for one official player per age group/gender for each Asian Nation – where accommodation for these players will be provided for, additional players can also participate at their own cost. The entry fee is set at USD75 – for official players, and USD150 for non-official players, plus an additional USD100 as registration fees.

Players who are interested to apply as the Official National representative are requested to fill up the following application form (PLEASE CLICK HERE) before 17th July 2022. Successful applicants will be informed before 23rd July and all payments – for both official and non-official players, (including MCF Admin Fees to facilitate the registration) must be completed to MCF before 27th July 2022.
