The Malaysian Chess Federation CONGRATULATES WIM Puteri Munajjah Az Zahraa Azhar for being the first collegiate chess athlete to be recognized by MASUM (Majlis Sukan Universiti Malaysia) as its Best Athlete for the year. Puteri Munajjah received her award from Timbalan Pengerusi MASUM II – YBhg Prof. Madya Dato’ Dr Mohd Hafiz Yusoff at the recent Majlis Anugerah Sukan MASUM 2022.

MCF hopes that this award, and the current momentum for chess development in Malaysia which also includes the inclusion of Chess in SUKMA, will continue to aspire the younger chess players to continue their chess journey for improvement and greatness.
