To ensure that Chess Officials especially Trainers, Coaches and National Arbiters are recognized for the titles that they have received – especially when such accreditation is required by potential employer, an official certificates can now be requested by CLICKING THE FOLLOWING LINK and filling up the necessary details to complete the request.

There is no processing fee for the certificate as long as the requestor’s has a valid MCF ID, together with the necessary qualification/accreditation. Where necessary, a FIDE ID is also required for titles that are awarded by FIDE. To apply for MCF ID, please go to https://rating.malaysiachess.my/register.aspx.

Take note that the issuance of the certificate will be at MCF discretion and will take approximately 5 to 7 days for it to be prepared. Once done, the certificate will be sent to the requestor’s email address, or to be downloaded from the internet.

MCF titles are awarded to those who have earned NM/WNM titles i.e. National Champions, National Trainer titles (as per the Train-The-Trainer and Coach Program) and other titles that are awarded locally.

For FIDE Titles, while many may have received their certificates from FIDE, certificates issued by MCF are formalities to indicate that the same is recognized by the National body.

As a start, MCF has already issued certificates to the recently awarded National Arbiters and National Trainers as recognition and reward for their qualification and experience.

MCF hopes that the certificate will allow more players, officials and trainers, to be recognized by schools, corporates, organizations and entities to enable them to be acknowledged for their abilities, qualification and functions in our combine effort to improve and elevate chess to a greater height.
