Many chess organizers – especially independent organizers not registered under the Commissioner of Sports, may not be aware that approval from the Ministry is critical when organizing any chess events especially events dubbed as National and/or International level events.

MCF appeals to all organizers to adhere and comply to this regulation and to not take the naming or classification of events as a simple matter.
