MCF will conduct the second session of the National Train-The-Trainer and Coach Program on the 9th and 10th of March in Shah Alam, Selangor continuing the first session which was conducted in Putrajaya last October. Conducted just before the start of Ramadhan, the two day program is aimed at providing tips and knowledge for trainers who are keen to attain recognition as a certified Chess Trainer/Coach. The initiative was mooted with the idea of developing trainers/coaches to be more structured and organized, and to educate them by providing a standardize approach in conducting training program especially for those running chess academies and learning entities. The exercise is hoped to help trainers/coaches to plan their learning term, and to provide a glimpse of chess future in Malaysia
Once accredited, trainers and coaches are invited to be involved in MCF training programs such as the National Training Program 5.0 scheduled to be held later in the year, as training grounds for them to gain valuable experience and knowledge for improvement.
This 2nd program will be conducted in Shah Alam at the Kemuncak Condominium Club House located on Jalan Tengku Ampuan Rahimah 9/20. For more details and/or direction to the venue, please contact MCF Committee (and center owner) Nik Ahmad Farouqi at +6011.1876.6006.
Entries are limited to 20 applicants and the fee shall be RM300 per person. Meals will be provided but participants are responsible for their own travelling and accommodation to attend the program. Some of the learning outcome that will benefit the attendees are:
1. Name in MSN/OCM registry as recognized Trainer/Coach – Level 1
2. Hall access during MCF events
3. Newsletter & Updates
4. Coaching Services Ads in MCF website/References for Trainers
5. As Coaches in our NTP program – paid/profit sharing program

With SUKMA looming in the horizon, and many schools/organizations looking for accredited trainers/coaches, MCF Training Accreditation is a step forward towards making chess development in Malaysia a more structured approach and rewarding return for those planning to take up Chess Training and Coaching as their career.
