Persatuan Catur Putrajaya (PUTRA) conducted a 2-day NA Seminar program on the 7th and 8th of February led by father daughter duo – IA Collin Madhavan and IA-in-waiting FA Olivia Madhavan, at the Putrajaya Training Center in Presint 15 Putrajaya. The rather stretched program – as it was done over 2 days, was attended by 24 hopeful Arbiters mostly from around Klang Valley.

State Associations have been actively conducting NA Seminars since October last year starting with the Online Seminar organized by Penang in October, followed by Johor in November, Selangor in December, Kedah in January and the recently concluded in Putrajaya. A few other states like Pahang, Melaka and Perlis are also looking to hold their NA Seminar within the next couple of months.

MCF is also organizing the FA Seminar to be held in Melaka in conjunction with the Commonwealth Chess Championship from 20th to 23rd February 2024. Those who are interested to enroll, please contact MCF at mcfsecretariat@malaysiachess.org. The fee to attend is USD120 with an additional USD20 to sit for the FA exam.
