It was a fun outing albeit only 6 teams showed up – including 2 teams from Port Dickson and 1 team from Klang. The tournament was changed to Round Robin and proceeded to Knock Out system with 3 teams winning the promised prize fund.

At the end of the tournament, duo Wan Mohd Azmie and Syawal Aqmar emerged as Champion after defeating Adam Hafiz and Eddie Chun Hong Koong in the final, with 3rd place went to Port Dickson duo Easther and Yashodhan.

The 2nd Bughouse Chess Tournament is scheduled to be held on 5th October 2024 (Saturday) starting at 8:30pm using the same format. Details will be out soon – be on the lookout!
