The GP Leaderboard has been updated with the latest result from the recently ended Q2/2026 GP Circuit Event – Gold Series.
Current Women’s National Champion – WFM Ainul Mardhiah, is currently at the top of the leaderboard with 106 points, followed by recently crowned National Champion – NM Chow Yi Chen at 80 points. Tied at 3rd place are Amir Ghazi and Tin Shan Wen, both with 64 points, with Kavin Mohan and Ashwiniy Kumaran 4 points adrift at 5th and 6th places.
With plenty more events to rack up points for players who are gunning to enter the GP Knock Out format at the start of next year, there are plenty of opportunities, with changes expected at the top of the leaderboard as more events conclude.
The next GP circuit event shall be the May series, set to be held on the 23rd and 24th of May at our MCF Office, followed by the exciting 3rd National Open Team Chess Championship to be held from the 29th of May to the 1st of June at AEON Mall Shah Alam.
The GP Circuit event shall return for its June series to be held on the 27th and 28th of June 2026.
