Almost a year ago, the Russian Center for Science and Culture collaborated with the Malaysian Chess Federation to organize the annual Russian House Chess Tournament at its official location on Jalan Ampang. This year, MCF will once again assist and support the program together with the Russian House establishment and its Director – Ms. Svetlana Kovaleva, to manage the 2023 edition of the fun and friendly event.

Strangely enough, the event will be held on 12th February 2023 (Sunday) – a date which was the same as last year, at the Russian Center for Science and Culture (RSCS) located at No 205, Jalan Ampang 2, Off Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur. For those who are not familiar with the area, it is about 500 meters from the Ampang/Jalan Tun Razak exchange behind the Proton Showroom on the left of Jalan Ampang from KLCC.

Limited to only 40 players, the 6 rounds event – with a Rapid time control of 10 minutes per player (no increment) is set to start at 10:00 am and conclude around 4:00 pm on the same day. There is NO ENTRY FEE to join but players are reminded to register early as spaces are VERY LIMITED. Please read the following brochure to learn more about the event.

To register, please go to https://forms.gle/jArYwyey24bmfm7T8. The registration will close by 6:00 pm on 11th February 2023, or once the number of players has reached 40 participants.

Have fun and look forward to seeing everyone at the Russian House this coming Sunday!
