As per MCF Committee meeting conducted on 18th June 2021 – and the previous meetings prior, and as per the new additional provisions in the MCF Constitution which was passed and approved at MCF AGM on 18th August 2019, the Committee welcomes two new additions in Mohd Yusof Ahmad and Muhamad Harris Imran Jamaluddin

Mohd Yusof Ahmad is the Deputy President for Persatuan Catur Negeri Terengganu and an active member of the community – both as a player and organizer. An Administrative Officer at one of Malaysia’s Government Department, Mohd Yusof would like to see more effort being put to educate and develop chess at the junior population.

Muhamad Harris Imran Jamaluddin is the Vice President II of Persatuan Catur Pahang and is one of the more active organizer for the association. A school teacher by profession, Harris Imran aspires to help the Federation to bridge and foster a closer relationship with the Ministry of Education in organizing more quality chess competitions and events at the school levels.

CONGRATULATIONS to both Mohd Yusof and Muhamad Harris Imran on your appointments, and the Federation looks forward to your valuable contribution and ideas to further excel chess in the country.
