The Malaysian Chess Federation would like to pay tribute and express its heartfelt condolences on the passing of Kamar Dani Abu Kasim – former Secretary of the Persatuan Catur Negeri Sembilan, who passed away recently on the 2nd of January 2023.

Kamar Dani is one of the more critical movers and driving forces for chess in Negeri Sembilan. An avid player and chess organizer, his passing will definitely be missed by his family and friends, more so by the chess community around Klang Valley, especially in his home state Negeri Sembilan and Seremban.
