At closing time, a total of 72 players have signed up to play in the various categories of the ASIAN Youth Chess Championship scheduled to take place later next month. Organized by the All India Chess Federation with support from ASIAN Chess Federation and endorsed by FIDE, the age group event will be held over two weekends with the Girls category to kick off on 22nd October and the Boys category a week later.

Those who have signed up for the event are requested to read and understand the Rules and Regulations of the event as per the attached document. Players are also requested to check their email later today for additional instructions, and to join our Whatsapp Group which has been created for the separate categories as means for communication with everyone involved.
