MCF Invites Interested Players to Apply for ASIAN NATIONS CUP U14 TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP 2022 (Online)
MCF Secretariat 08/03/2022 0 COMMENTSOrganized by the Asian Chess Federation (ACF) and hosted by the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka, the ASIAN NATIONS CUP U14 TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP 2022 via TORNELO Platform (Online) has been scheduled to be held from 25th to 27th of March 2022. All ASIAN Nations have been invited to take part in this event for both Boys and Girls categories with each country allowed to field a maximum of 2 teams in each category – 4 teams in total.
Each team will consist of 4 main players and 1 reserve, and the board order will remain as such throughout the events. Schedule over 9 rounds of play, the time control for each game is set at 15 minutes + 10 seconds per move per player. Those who are interested to represent the country in the event are required to submit their application via google form at https://forms.gle/nD9qWJCxaapWjPVm7 together with a NON REFUNDABLE application fee of RM20 before 11th March 2021. A copy of the proof of payment is needed when completing the application form.
Once all the applications have been received, the MCF Selection Team will then select the best 10 Boys and 10 Girls to represent Malaysia at the event. Players selected to represent the country are reminded that an additional fee of up to RM200 per player will be required as entry fees and MCF Management fees that must be paid prior to being accepted to play. Once selected, players must also ensure that they have a valid TORNELO ID as the tournament will be played on the popular TORNELO platform.
While the championship allows for each country to send in 2 teams per category, MCF reserves the right to decide on the most appropriate number of teams/players that it can send for the tournament. MCF also reserves the right to reject any application without providing any reasons whatsoever to the applicant.
MCF will announce the final names of the players selected no later than the 14th of March 2022
