Starting from June 2026, MCF will venture into organizing chess classes for beginners (and beginner-intermediate) players at its office in Seri Kembangan. Classes are organized on Saturdays from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm, and enrollment is limited to 16 students. MCF will add more sessions as and when the need arises by increasing the number of classes held, including on weekdays or at night.
The normal rate is RM70 per student per class with 3 sessions held per month (RM210), allowing the extra 4th week for students to rest or enjoy other family activities. If the family signs up for 2 students, the rate is RM65 per student (RM130 for 2 students or RM390 per month). And if there are 3 students in a family, the rate drops further to RM60 per student (RM180 for 3 students or RM540 per month for all).
An additional 10% reduction will be given to students who sign up for a 3-month session, and 20% discount to those who take up all the classes until September 2026.
All payments are to be made to MCF Official accounts at PERSEKUTUAN CATUR MALAYSIA (CIMB – 8000649725), and the proof of payment is to be attached to the official registration form that needs to be downloaded as per the link below, and sent to MCF Secretariat Office via email mcfsecretariat@malaysiachess.org.
