The earlier Standard event for U2200 which was postponed last month is back on the calendar. Set to be scheduled on 26th and 27th October 2024, the 6 Rounds Swiss event for players below FIDE Rating 2200 will offer a total prize fund of RM1,100 with the winner set to win RM400, runner up RM200 and 3rd RM100. Best category prizes will also be awarded to Cadets U12, Ladies, Veteran, and Unrated provided that each category has 3 players playing and scoring at least 50% or 3 points. This is to ensure that player’s competitiveness is maintained throughout the competition.

Take note that due to space constraints, entries are limited only to 48 players.
