The Malaysian Chess Federation is proud to announce Malaysian players and officials who were recently awarded the following titles by FIDE:

  1. Puteri Munajjah Az-Zahraa Azhar – WIM
  2. Chan Kim Yew – FM
  3. Wong Jianwen – FM
  4. Tang En Xin Esther – WCM
  5. Justin Pereira – FA
  6. Syawal Aqmar Shahrir Ariff – FA

MCF is also awaiting for the approval from FIDE for the following title award:

  1. Agnes Chong Kai Ni – WFM
  2. Navaratnam Rohan Shan Tze – FM
  3. Genkeswaran Muniyan – IA
  4. Kumaresan Thiaagarajoo – IA

For Rohan, while the approval has been given by FIDE, MCF is awaiting for the title to be reflected in the Rating List

The following application for NA (National Arbiter) was also submitted to FIDE pending their approval.
