The Malaysian Chess Federation will be organizing FIDE 100 Years Celebration Dinner on 9th December 2024 to be held at Hotel Royale Chulan Damansara starting at 7:00pm. The guests of honors will be the YB Minister of Youth and Sports – YB Puan Hannah Yeoh, FIDE President – Arkady Dvorkovich, FIDE Deputy Chair – Dana Reizniece-Ozola, FIDE Delegates and MCF Leadership Team, and the many National Chess Presidents from around the Region.

Hosted by MCF and President Akhramsyah Muammar Ubaidah Sanusi, the number of seats for this once in a lifetime dinner and celebration is also opened to players, coaches and trainers, parents and supporters who are keen to be a part of the celebration. Seats are available for purchase and those intending to come, are advised to be there early to avoid traffic jams and parking hassles. Limited to between 100 and 150 guests, the cozy environment will allow attendees to have a closer engagement with the Minister, FIDE President and top officials including those with MCF leadership Team, and the many chess figures within the country and the region. There will also be an award ceremony to honor those who have contributed to the growth and development of chess in Malaysia, and cultural entertainment to showcase our foreign visitors.

Seats are priced at RM250 per person but, if you can secure 10 persons, you can book a table at RM2,000 or RM200 per person. MCF also welcome corporate sponsors or individuals who would like to book a table to allow the many chess enthusiasts to attend the gala.
