CONGRATULATIONS IA Abd Hamid – Chief Arbiter, World Chess Championship 2024

The Malaysian Chess Federation is pleased to announce that IA Abd Hamid Abd Majid has been appointed as the Chief Arbiter for the upcoming World Chess Championship 2024 between Ding Liren and D Gukesh which will be held in Singapore from 25th November to 15th December 2024.

IA Hamid appointment for the World Championship was confirmed upon receiving an email from FIDE which he has shared with MCF President.
