Thailand Chess Association (TCA) under the auspices of the Asian Chess Federation (ACF) and World Chess Federation (FIDE) invites all Asian national/regional chess federations to participate in the 4th Eastern Asia Youth Chess Championship, to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, during 1st August (Arrival) – 10th August (Departure) 2019.

Those interested can write before1st July 2019 (for Official Player application as published on 8th May 2019)to:

Criteria to qualify for this event:

  1. The player must finish top 4 in NYCC 2019 in their respective category contested
  2. The position of Official player shall be awarded to the player in the sequence of NYCC 2019 results ie Champion, followed by 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Result of Official players will be published on 4th July 2019.
  3. Players who finished 2nd, 3rd or 4th during NYCC 2019 can apply to go as Additional player. As for Additional player application, you must write in before 7th July 2019.
  4. Players who fulfil the minimum FIDE elo rating ceiling based on the chart listed below can apply to go as Additional player. You must write in before 7th July 2019.
