National Arbiter Exam 1.0

Scheduled on Saturday, 26th of April 2025 via Online Zoom

The Malaysian Chess Federation (MCF) will be organizing its first combined National Arbiter Exam on Saturday, 26th April 2025  from 8:30pm until 10:30pm.

As per previous format, attendees need to answer 30 objective and 10 subjective questions and 75% score  to meet the passing mark.

This new single exam format is an attempt by MCF to streamline the exam process instead having to create multiple exam sessions conducted after each Seminar is completed.

Those who have taken the recent Seminar sessions (in March and April), there is no fees to take the exam. For those who have attended taken the exam before but did not make the mark, the fee to repeat the exam is RM30.

MCF is also allowing aspiring Arbiter who feel that they are able to pass the exam without attending the seminar, to take the exam at a fee of RM100 per attempt.

The last date to register is 22nd of April. The exam will be conducted via online and all attendees MUST activate their webcam during the exam session or risk failing them. The zoom and exam links will be shared before the exam session starts.
