With the year coming to a close, MCF will be organizing its final NA Seminar session for 2024 on the very last weekend of the year. Scheduled to be held on 28th and 29th December, MCF continues to offer reduced pricing for school teachers at only RM200 compared to the usual RM250 for open participants.

The frequency of organizing bimonthly NA Seminar session is to cater for the growing demands and needs for qualified Arbiters to manage tournaments and events that have been mushrooming in the country since early 2024. Further, with a busier schedule for MCF next year, there will be plenty of opportunities for aspiring Arbiters to be part of MCF growing effort to organize more classical events for the community.

The fees paid will include refreshments for Coffee and Tea breaks but participants will have to manage their own lunch during the afternoon break. The fee will also include and exam fee of RM30 for the NA exams which is scheduled on the second day (Sunday) starting at 2:30pm. Those who wish to repeat the exam are also invited to sign up for the exam session on Sunday for the same fee of RM30

As earlier mentioned, MCF is again offering reduced fee for School Teachers who are interested to learn and pursue a career in becoming chess arbiters, as it will be very helpful for them to manage chess events at the annual MSS championships, and the many events organized by independent organizers for school children. Please take note that teachers who are interested to take the offer would need to provide a letter/proof from their respective school to confirm their status in order to claim the reduced rate.
