The Malaysian Chess Championship would like to apologize on the confusion that may have arisen with regards to the 7th EASTERN ASIAN YOUTH CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2023.

After consultation with the ASIAN CHESS FEDERATION (ACF) and as per FIDE Official Calendar, the 7th EASTERN ASIAN YOUTH CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 will officially be held in Hainan, China from 3rd to 11th August 2023. As there was another similar event being circulated, MCF will only recognize the event that is posted on the FIDE website.

Those who may have applied in our portal, will be reimbursed or, will be brought forward for the Hainan, China edition.

MCF regretted the error and apologize for the oversight.
