With only 77 players confirming their participation in the 1st National Individual Rapid Online Chess Championship 2020, the Malaysian Chess Federation as the organizer for the event, has decided that the event will now proceed directly to the Final Week to be played on 24th and 25th October 2020. Players are hereby informed that the event will skip the Qualifying Rounds hence, there will be no games or rounds being played this weekend. Testing for Zoom connection and table set up will be done next week on Thursday and Friday (22nd and 23rd October) at 8:00pm. All players will be given a zoom link later next week for them to login should they need to test their zoom connection.

With everyone moving to the final rounds, all prizes will be honored as per advertised.
