Five more aspiring arbiters have been approved for the title of National Arbiter (NA) by FIDE. With that, Malaysia now has 309 Arbiters listed in the FIDE database with 252 National Arbiters, 31 FIDE Arbiters, and 20 International Arbiters.
Out of the 31 FAs, only 27 are considered active, and out of the 20 IAs, only 11 are active.
MCF hopes that more and more Arbiters will continue their effort to be FAs and IAs to help elevate and create more opportunities for Malaysia to organize more high-quality and competitive classical events.
