TAKE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO SELECTION PROCESS FOR THIS EVENT. EVERYONE WHO APPLY IS ALMOST CERTAIN TO PLAY IN THE EVENT.

The Thailand Chess Association under the auspices of Asian Chess Federation and International Chess Federation (FIDE), will be organizing the EASTERN ASIAN ONLINE CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2021 for Asia Zone 3.3, 3.5 and 3.6 starting from 24th September until 3rd October 2021. All the Countries within the sub Zones – Malaysia included, are invited to send players to participate in the event that are divided into 6 age categories for both Boys and Girls which are Boys/Girls U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18.

The Girls event will be held from 24th to 26th September before the event breaks for 1 week and resume with the Boys category to be held from 1st to 3rd October 2021. There is no limit to the number of participants from each country as long as a player is registered to play via their respective nation Federation.

Once done, players can CLICK HERE to PROCEED WITH THE EVENT REGISTRATION for the event. Closing date to register is 10th September 2021

Please take note that each registration must be accompanied with a payment of RM150 to be banked into MCF Account – PERSEKUTUAN CATUR MALAYSIA (CIMB 8000649725). The payment is inclusive of the event entry fees at USD 25, and MCF Admin fees to submit, prepare and organize the team including appointing an HOD to manage the team during the tournament.

While the event is open to all – provided the details and payment is made correctly, MCF reserves the right to limit certain entries as and when necessary. However, it would be great to see record participation from young Malaysians who are keen to battle wits with their peers from other countries to gain knowledge and experience playing in a Regional event.
