The Malaysian Chess Federation is pleased to announce that there is still one open slot for an Official U12 Girls player to represent Malaysia at the 27th Asian Youth Chess Championships 2025, which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from 20–30 November 2025. Take note that only players aged 11 and 12 are allowed to apply.
The championship will feature categories for both Open and Girls in U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, and U18, played under the auspices of the Asian Chess Federation (ACF) and FIDE. Players must meet the age eligibility requirements (for U12, born on or after 1 January 2013).
In addition to the U12 Girls official slot, MCF also welcomes applications from additional players who wish to participate in any of the age-group categories. Official players will enjoy free board and lodging at the official hotel, while additional players will bear their own expenses.

Interested players are requested to write to the MCF Secretariat at mcfsecretariat@malaysiachess.org highlighting their achievements and reasons for selection, along with supporting documents. An application fee of RM100 must be banked into the MCF account (CIMB – 8000649725), and proof of payment should be submitted together with the application. Amount is deductible if the application is accepted.
