After much delay, the MCF Rating for all registered players have been updated and covers all rated events until 31st December 2024
The rating covers all MCF events such as the KBS Masters Games, the U2200 Standard Event, the National Rapid and Blitz Events and the Age Group Standard Events held at MCF Office throughout November and December. A total of 50 tournaments and events were included as rated tournaments from October to December 2024. The events that were added are:
As of the 9th of January 2025, a total of 4,424 players have registered for an MCF ID and out of that figure, 62% of the population or 2,798 players have already obtained a National Rating.
Comparatively, MCF only had 2,580 player registered with an MCF ID At the end of 2023 as of 31st December 2023, and based on that rate, the National Rated population has grown by 71% growth for the year of 2024. Despite the growth, MCF is still far short from its target of 8,000 players that it had targeted for 2024
