MCF will continue its Standard event series with the 2nd Quarter edition of the MCF Office U2400 Standard event to be held at MCF office on the 12th and 13th April 2025. The five (5) or six (6) rounds Swiss event – depending on the number of players, will deploy the Standard Time Control of 60 minutes + 30 seconds per game.
As this will be a FIDE Rated event, players must have both FIDE ID and a valid MCF ID to sign up for the program. The event will also act as the warm up event in anticipation of the Malaysian Chess Championship to be held from 16th to 20th April 2025.

The event offers a total cash prize fund of RM1,400 with the outright winner to earn RM400 for the effort. Additional category prizes are also offered to Best Veteran, Best Lady, Best Below 1800, Best Unrated and best OKU Players – subject to terms and conditions.
