The Malaysian Chess Federation CONGRATULATES our newest addition of titled players to Ainul Mardhiah Mohd Afif for being awarded the title Woman FIDE Master (WFM) by FIDE. Her award came after her stellar performance at the recently concluded Asian Juniors and Girls Chess Championship 2024 which was held in Tagaytay City, Philippines which catapulted her to cross the 1900 FIDE Rating to secure the title. Her crowning as the Champion in the U14 Girls section at the 8th Eastern Asia Youth Chess Championship 2024 held in Penang earned her the direct title but her rating at that time, was not enough to claim the title out right.
