Players who are interested to take part in the Commonwealth Blitz 2023/24 to be held on 27th February 2024 at MITC Ayer Keroh, Melaka, can do so by paying RM 100 (or USD 25) to sign up for the event. The 11 rounds Blitz event will start at 2:00pm and is expected to end by 6:00pm.

Total prize fund is RM 10,000 with the Open Champion set to win RM2,000.

The event will be divided into 2 separate categories – Open and Under 18, with a time control of 3 minutes + 2 seconds increment. All prize winners will also be invited to attend the Closing Dinner to be held starting at 7:00pm to honor all champions, with the Chief Minister of Malacca scheduled to officially attend the program.

Take note that the event is open only to players from COMMONWEALTH COUNTRIES. Players from non-commonwealth countries are not allowed to participate.
