The Malaysian Chess Federation would like to share details of the upcoming FIDE World Cadet & Youth Rapid & Blitz Championships 2026, which will take place in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia, from 14 April (arrival) to 21 April (departure) 2026.
The championships will feature Rapid and Blitz competitions across six age categories: Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18, in both Open and Girls sections.
Participation for Malaysian players is available on a self-funded basis.
Players and parents are reminded that visa processing requires sufficient lead time. The deadline for submission of interest and required details to MCF is 1 March 2026. Requests submitted after this date will not be accepted by the organizers.
