The Preparation of Teachers (PoT) Program 2025 was held in conjunction with the Commonwealth Chess Championship 2025. This three-day program from 12th–14th November brought together passionate educators and coaches eager to learn how chess can transform learning in the classroom.
We were truly honoured to welcome Mr Jerry Nash, Chairman of the FIDE Education Commission, whose cheerful personality, rich experiences and insightful sessions made the program both inspiring and memorable. His deep commitment to developing critical thinking, creativity and essential life skills through chess education left a lasting impact on all participants.
We are proud to share that all 10 participants successfully passed the final exam, earning the FIDE School Instructor title — opening doors to international recognition and future FIDE-endorsed educational initiatives. Your dedication is shaping the future of chess education in Malaysia, empowering classrooms with the power of chess.
