The FT Online Chess Festival clocked off last weekend with a more than 66 Junior, 27 Ladies and 53 Open players participating in the inaugural event. The number of turnout was expected but as this was the first series, the slow registration should pick up as the event moves into its 2nd Series this coming week.

For Series 1 event, the list of winners are as per below with the top 20 earning GP points but only the top 10 players securing the cash prizes.

Winners will be contacted soon for the prize money to be disbursed.

Series 2 will be held this weekend on 7th August (for Juniors and Ladies) and 8th August (Open). As of now, 66 players have signed up for the U12 category, another 23 players in the Open and 16 players in the Ladies categories.
