The Federal Territory Online Chess Festival 2021 – contributed and supported by the Ministry of Federal Territories under Deputy Minister YB Dato’ Sri Dr Santhara, will continue its month long Festival program with the 2nd Series to be held this weekend on the 7th and 8th August 2021.

As usual, the Junior U12 category will be held on Saturday morning, 7th August 2021 starting from 9:00am followed by the Ladies category at 2:00pm on the same day. Both categories will be played over 7 rounds Swiss.

On Sunday 8th August 2021, the weekly program will continue with the Open Category to be played over 8 rounds Swiss. Time control for all the categories are 10 minutes + 2 seconds increment. To date, 75 players have registered for the Juniors U12 category, 24 players in the Ladies category and another 30 players in the Open category.
