With the final listing of the top 32 players for the Ladies and U12 categories have been made public, the final listing for the Open and U18 final is now available for viewing. Similarly, players are requested to contact mcfsecretariat@malaysiachess.org to confirm their participation for the event.

As mentioned in the earlier news shared in this website, the additional date is added to ensure that all the games can be completed in a timely order. Hence, the Round of 32 for the Open and U18 categories will also be played on 10th August (Tuesday – Awal Muharram Public Holiday) as per the earlier schedule shared as below:

With several other events also clashing with the Xtiv event – namely the FIDE Cadets and Youth event that will be starting later tonight, certain games may be reschedule separately if the event involve players who may have to stay late to prepare their International games. However, all games must be completed on 10th August else, it will be tough to squeeze games on different days.
