The ASIAN Chess Federation is on a roll with a second major event via Hybrid mode to be held from 20th to 30th May 2021. Similar to the Zonal event, the ASIAN Continental Chess Championship requires a higher qualifier with a floor FIDE Rating of 2300 points but players rated below the mentioned strength can still apply pending approval from the Organizer. And despite the requirement and the cost to set up a Hybrid center for the event – which is estimated at RM 1,500 per person, MCF has already received 2 interested applications and with more and more players keen to play, the cost can drop drastically to less than RM 500 if there are more than 10 players keen to participate.

Those who are interested to participate in the event are requested to write to mcfsecretariat@malaysiachess.org, inquiries@malaysiachess.org and mcfselection@malaysiachess.org before 28th April 2021 with the following details:
1. Name
3. Mobile Phone
4. FIDE Rating
5. Preferred Hybrid Center/City:
6. If Rating below 2300, state recent achievement to support application.
7. If Rating below 2300, state reasons to be selected.

Please download and read the Rules and Regulations (CLICK HERE) of the event prior to applying to understand its requirements.

Entry fees is set at USD 150 which in exclusive of the additional RM 1,500 for the Hybrid cost.
